Antwone Marcell McLean, Prosperous' founder and CEO, is a Dudley's Beauty College graduate and veteran in the hair care industry. Mr. McLean credits his vast experience and knowledge in the beauty care field to his education and training with industry leaders. Having been mentored by Joe Dudley, Mr. McLean apprenticed at the famed Douglas Carrolle salon in Raleigh, North Carolina as well as with Barry Fletcher of the renowned Avant Garde salon in Capital Heights, Maryland.
After working in the industry for a number of years, Mr. McLean founded Prosperous in 2001 with the vision of providing the highest quality hair care products at the most competitive prices in the marketplace. Prosperous began auspiciously with a Kiwi Shampoo, Body Plus Conditioner, and Sheen Gloss, and today their Quality Hair Care Products line boasts a Kiwi Shampoo, a Remoisturizing Shampoo, a Stimulant Moisturizing Conditioner, a Body Plus Conditioner, a Silky Foaming Mousse, a Biogel Mousse, a Therapeutic Scalp Crème, a Silky Protein Holding Spray, and a Crème Relaxer. Prosperous also offers a Soft-N-Smooth ManiPare and Soft-N-Smooth Lotion as debut items in its new line of Quality Spa Products.
From their headquarters in Hampton, Virginia, Mr. McLean and his wife Katina provide Prosperous' suite of Quality Hair Care Products to high-end hair salons and day spas.
